Uncertainty in forest landscape respose to climate change

Abstract:
We coupled a forest landscape model LANDIS-II and a forest process model PnET-II), we attempts to examine the variability/uncertainty of a transitional forest landscape (Boundary Water Canoe Area (BWCA), which is transitional between spruce-fir dominated boreal forest and pine-dominated mixed forest) response to climatic change resulted from the differential responses of 14 tree species under different climatic change scenarios.
