| Abstract: |
| We are interested in comparing the response of the models tropical circulation to increasing CO2 and its link to water and energy cycles. We have done some analysis of the GFDL model and come oup with a relatively simple argument and set of metrics for understanding the response of the tropical circulation to global warming. Hopefully the broader IPCC data base will enable use to test the robustness of this hypothesis on a broader set of models. |
