Aerosols impact in a GCM

Abstract:
Sulfate aerosols in the LMDZ are produced using the online chemistry and their dynamics is studies by an interactive aerosol module in this GCM. Their radiative forcing is being simulated. The CMIP3 data shall be utilised to initialise the model boundary conditions. Especially, sea surface temperature, sea ice, ground humidity and albedo will be specified in LMDZ using the CMIP3 multimodel simulated values.
