Abstract:
I am studying the accuracy of downscaling of meteorological data from global climate models to those compiled by local meteorological stations. My study will study initially study the island of Tenerife in the Canaries and will, via statistics, compare and contrast the GCM output and the observed conditions in order to gain a better insight into how GCMs, when extrapolated into the future, may have certain limitations with regards to climate prediction.
