Impact of global warming on ENSO

Abstract:
The objective: To describe how the characteristics of interanual ENSO variability in the tropical Pacific coupled system is modulated by the global warming and to understand what mechanism is responsible for the modulation.

The model data required:
1) the upper ocean temperature for all levels and the oceanic surface height,
2) the surface fluxes,
3) major atmospheric variables (V, H,T,Q, et al.) for the standard pressure levels and the sea level pressure.
