ANALYSIS TOPIC
- to assess the impacts of climate change and extreme events in the
Mediterranean region using model output
STUDY OUTLINE
The study will use global and regional GCM daily data to assess:
- drought risk
- fire risk
- heat waves at tourist locations
- impacts on agriculture
- impacts on energy demand
in the Mediterranean region. Ideally, the study area will encompass the entire Mediterranean basin, including Northern Africa and the Levante. |
