ESNO effects in atmospheric circulation and the climate of southern South America

Abstract:
Objective: To test the model simulation skill in reproducing: the ENSO features. and if so to test their skill to simulate the atmospheric circulation and climate of southern South America. Constructions of 21st century regional scenarios

Data required:
Simulations:
-20th century simulations to year 2000
-21st century simulations with SRES A2 and B1 to year 2100

For each simulation the global monthly means of:
Sea surface temperature (tos)
air surface tempertaure (tas), sea level presure (psl) and precipitation
flux (pr)
and at the geopotential heigth at 850, 500, and 200 hPa the following variables: geopotential height (zg850, zg500, zg200), eastward wind (ua850, ua500, ua200), northward wind (va850, va500, va200)
