Climate change and Hydrologic variabilities on Alpine Region

Abstract:
We propose to analyse the lasted set IPCC AOGCM simulations over the Mediterranean Area, in particular over Alpine Region, in order to investigate the future evolution of Alpine Climate and its impacts on hydrologic cycle. At first temperature and precipitation of the 20th century are analysed comparing model results with time series meteorological observations. Then temperature and precipitation evolutions, throughout the 21st century, are investigated considering different SRES scenarios (B1, A1B and A2). The analysis is focus on seasonally averaged statistics, by intercomparison temperature and precipitation results of the different model simulations.
