Analysis of Upper Air Trends Over Alaska From 1948 - Present

| Abstract: |
I plan to analyze upper air trends over Alaska during the period of record (1948-present), matching these to seasonal wildfire severity trends, and also to GCM model simulations of past climate.
My hope is to use the GCM outputs to develop scenarios of future wildfire season trends in length and severity for the interior of Alaska after having analyzed observed trends and matching them to the GCM simulations. |
