Statistical Analysis and Comparison of Modeled and Observed Daily Temperature Ranges

| Abstract: |
| We propose to investigate select model simulations of "daily" maximum temperature, minimum temperature, and diurnal temperature range, through a detailed statistical comparison of observational data (e.g. 1950 to present) to corresponding model data. In addition, we intend to put the models' future simulated results (post 2010) into a confidence perspective based upon our statistical analysis of the historical data. |
