Assessing NW Renewable Energy Resources Under Climate Change

| Abstract: |
| We intend to download upper-level GCM output from current climate and future climate scenarios from multiple models. We will use this model output together with observations to downscale the climate change scenarios for use in evaluating possible future changes in renewable energy resources. The focus domain initially will be the Northwest US and we will use classification-based statistical downscaling tools (e.g. as published in Breslow and Sailor, Renewable Energy, 2002). |
