GIS and statistical analysis of climate model accuracy

| Abstract: |
My study aims to use GIS and statistical procedures - such as EOF, grid box, regional frequency analyses:
(i) to examine results from all available models of the IPCC AR4 for changes in Midwest rainfall temperature, snow and frost days during the 21st century;
(ii) to map the projected climate zones;
(iii) and to determine the potential crop distribution under future climate.
Observation data obtained through NCDC will be compared to the 20th century simulations in order to assess the accuracy of the models over the study area. |
