Use of Coupled Climate Model Data in the Detrending of Historical Observations

| Historical meteorological observations are widely used in the financial industry. This data is typically 'detrended', to render it stationary. This detrending is performed using statistical methods. I want to start investigating whether it might be possible to use coupled climate model data to inform this detrending process. |
