| Abstract: |
| We are currently investigating the importance of ocean observations in reducing uncertainty in long-term predictions of the fate of the MOC. Analysis of GCM output from various models will allow us to approximate the autoregressive properties, and the magnitude, of the internal variability in the MOC strength. These properties influence the uncertainty in probabilistic predictions. |
