Evaluation of Solar Dimming and Brightening

PI: Joel Norris
Institution: Scripps Institution of Oceanography
Abstract:
I will examine output from the AR4 global climate models to see if the models reproduce observed trends in surface solar radiation flux and cloud radiative forcing. This will be a good test for whether the models correctly simulate direct and indirect aerosol radiative forcing.
