Statistical Downscaling of Climate Scenarios
Work on climate model data to produce regional climate scenarios for Impact Assessment modelling (Reasearch Theme 2B, ENSEMBLES project).
The plan for IPCC model outputs is to study the spatial and temporal downscaling focusing mainly into precipitation and temperature variables. Also is to incorporate some of this model outputs in a Web Portal for Statistical Dowscaling (http://grupos.unican.es/ai/meteo/ensembles/) making available to research community the downsaling techniques developed in ENSEMBLES project.
