| Abstract: |
Climate change has remained a marginal issue in the immediate agenda of developing country policy making in the light of more pressing concerns of under development like poverty, food security and inadequate access of masses to health, education services and infrastucture facilities.
India has reason to be concerned about climate change. Its vast population depends on climate dependent sectors like agriculture, forestry, fishery etc.Because of most of its population in low income group,large section of society is also vulnerable to impacts due to climate change one of the affected sector being health.
* Work out relation between geology and hydrology and their integration in development process
* find out extent of water as a contributor to climate change and vice versa, eventually affecting society
*models for kerbing or minimizing impact of water on climate change and vice versa, designing climate management system accordingly
* capacity building and awareness to the society for the envisaged problems and their long lasting impacts
