Atmospheric Physics and Chemistry

Abstract:
I study the evolution of the atmosphere under the influence of changing radiative forcing agents, with emphasis on the stratosphere. State-of-the-art coupled models developed at GFDL are used to assess the evolution of the climate retrospectively in the industrial era and prospectively in the 21st century.

I am particularly responsible for the incorporation of up-to-date radiative transfer models to compute the desired radiative forcings needsd for such models.
