| Abstract: |
Our research is to evaluate influences of global warming on water environment in East Asian basins, such as flood disaster, draught risks, river water quality, and coastal ecosystem. We intend to carry out a frequency analysis for the extreme meteorological events using the GCM data sets. Statistical changes in the extreme events caused by global warming are estimated with considering model uncertainty. Impacts of the changes in the extreme-event frequency on the water environment in East Asian region are evaluated using a numerical model, which is consisted of hydrodynamic and ecosystem parts, with the GCM data sets.
