Problem(s): Global mean is negative-valued.

Probable cause(s): In individual monthly maps, there are spatially 
scattered negative values (possibly a result of round-off errors?)
interspersed with positive values. These negative values are
numerous/sizeable enough to produce a negative-valued global mean.  

Recommendation(s): Flag
